Why are the bassist and the drummer looking at each other on stage? Why is the guitarist playing something besides power chords? Why is the left hand of the keyboard player swinging in the air instead of playing the instrument? Why is the singer gesturing to the band in the middle of the song?
If you want to get the answers to all of these questions or if you always wanted to play in a band and perform to a big bunch of campers, this is the workshop for you. In this workshop you'll learn the basics of playing together with others in a band. Anyone who knows the basics of their own instrument can take part in this workshop. Earlier studies of music theory and ear training are useful but not necessary. No-one is too good for this workshop, but the standard of the average students is considered in the teaching.
You are also welcome to take part as a whole band, if you already have one. For this workshop you should bring your instrument and an amplifier if you need one.
